Am i missing something here?
Ive been looking through the submissions a lot lately, and im seing an abundance of these kind of animations... Fruit with clocks on them which take like stephen hawking. Am i missing something??? Is it some massively secret joke thats amazingly funny once someone tells you the secret, or is it just a big pile of sh*t as it appears to be?
Hope there is some secret, or maybe the whole thing is just a joke.

This was cool, the silent movie thing worked really well with the old music, and the simplistic graphics fitted in too. Not so good points were the animations, where the charectors were mostly seen from side view, and the ripping off of a film, but still it was a nice n simple flash. 10 for sound because as i said the tune works well, and then you went and put linkin park in which just rocks.

The car was fairly well drawn, and the music was good, but apart from that... what the f*ck? Its just the same thing in a loop... why put in on NG when its clearly more of a picture than a movie?? Did you really have nothing better to do that to draw a car? Bit sad really...

I got so bored that i cant remember much about any of it, so i cant be pedantic and pick it apart like i did for the others. um... oh yeh! ok so theres 3 soldiers, and whist GI joe is being amazing killing two of them, the other military dude is just stood there watching. Im not a soldier, but it seems to me that if someones attacking your guys its best to maybe... oh i dunno, shoot him or something to try and stop him. Thought that was the whole point of guns but clearly not.
Also, this marco guy... he wasnt dead? Maybe that should be explained further than a doctor giving him a majic pill.
Why was that car just randomly there? Seams to me to be a fairly random place to leave a car.
And once again youve saved yourself time and massive amounts of effort (unfortunatly making your animation mediocore at best in the process), by simply duplicating things like explosions and people over and over again.

Why is everything animated the same??? E.g's : The two military guys, moving exactly the same way and every explosion in the movie was identical.
Its really unrealistic... Why would 2 soldiers have worse guns than the two civilians?? And why would the soldiers not run away when they knew that cannon thing was coming?? They well coulda got down the stairs. Also, the two guys just 'hopped' over the fence... that fence was about twice their height and it had razorwire along the top!! Id like to see someone 'hop' over that! And the thing that blew up the city was not a nuke, nor did it come from a plane. Nor did it hit the city, it hit the bottom of the screen.
This series is really bad so far.

It was ok... the concept was good and the sound was nice and clean (if a little out of time at one point), but the 2D foreground on a 3D background didnt really work for me. The charectors were moving a little slow across the screen which always fustrates me and the storyline was a bit... well poor really. I mean, the stories the 2 guys told were really random and short, and why would a guy who unloads boxs for a living need a massive gun with him while he works? Didnt blow me but its better than a lot of other stuff, so u get a 6.

That was piss funny, although a little frightening. I dont think ill look at a vending machine the same again. Nice to see someone making a good short film that isnt full of cliches.
Good delivery of serious issues
This was brilliant. Im an environmentalist and its great to see serious issues being presented in this way, maybe itll get through to more people. I have to agree with some other people who reviewed this in asking, why did the tree fall on the deer? Im fairly sure that deers have quick enough reactions to avoid a tree. Most deers do anyway... if it was a blind and deaf deer maybe... That let it down a little. Apart from that, it was great. You should definatly make another one, possibly about water pollution, just dont show fish being crushed by anything.
